Sailing the high seas may seem like luxury, but for the final table players at the Party Poker Million VI tournament, the cruise was filled with tension and the spirit of competition. The Million VI tourney was hosted by one of the top online casinos poker gambling sites on the Web and featured both land and internet poker professionals. The competition took place of the MSC Poesia cruise liner sailing the waters between Italy and Croatia. Many of the usual land and online casinos poker pros were represented – all of the regulars at the Party Poker gambling site.
The Million VI tournament, like most online tourneys had amble opportunities and qualifiers for the internet casino players to win entry into the compeititon. But in the end, as is often the case, those at the final table were the regular and seasoned professionals. At the final table were: Andreas Jorbeck, Johannes Strassmann, Kenneth Gregersen, Ray Estall, Cory Albertson, and Peter Steinlesburger. And the two finalists who ended up in a heads-up face-off were two German poker players, Alexander Jung and Dominick Stopka. These two players battled it out at the end of the event, ending with Jung eventually taking home the top honors, a glass trophy, and the $385,000 in winnings.
As for some of the other land and online casinos players, those gamblers who won seats at the tournament through internet qualifiers at the Party Poker.com gambling site at least had the beautiful scenery, the spending cash they also won as a part of the prize packages. The Party Poker Million VI is an annual tournament that runs right before the WSOP Las Vegas event and is a great warm-up for the poker pros looking to compete in Vegas just weeks later.
