Asian Facing Online Casino Company |
Industry analysts have predicted for some time that the online casinos industry in Asia was on the verge of emergence. And as AsianLogic has announced that it will begin to trade on the London AIM, it looks like the Asian internet gambling industry has finally begun in earnest. Though AsianLogic is prepared to trade on the London AIM and expand into new regions, a company document importantly notes that the online casinos industry is still very new to Asia, and as such many countries and regions still have laws against online gambling and betting activities.
That fact is actually quite important considering that Hong Kong has harsh punishments for online casinos companies and individuals that facilitate internet gambling activities. And though AsianLogic does not offer services to Hong Kong based players, the fact that the company is based in Hong Kong is in itself a factor for investors to consider.
AsianLogic is specifically involved in both the betting, internet betting, and online casinos industry. The company has already gained a player base and has enough of a start in the industry that its launch later this week is predicted to be successful. Online gambling companies are constantly looking for an “in” into the Asian internet gambling industry, and if AsianLogic is successful at growing even a small market, other online casinos companies will almost certainly follow suit.
AsianLogic is a part of the Playtech gambling group and actually uses the Playtech platform of online casino games at its site. And though AsianLogic is only recently gaining attention in the internet gambling industry, the company was actually founded in 2002 and has slowly built a player-base and brand name in its target markets. The company has been slowly building to the point where it could be listed on the London AIM.
