Players Marvel at Betfair's Payouts
Many poker players at the Betfair online casinos gambling site are all wondering about a recent glitch in the computer’s software that paid out large amounts of winnings in non-winning situations. The error lasted for only a couple of hours but many players took that amount of time to exploit the situation for as much winnings as possible. There were specific payout issues in the “all-in” situations in the poker rooms. Naturally once the glitch was recognized across all of the poker rooms, the players began to gamble without any stakes attached because there was no way to lose their winnings – they would be paid out no matter how the cards turned out.

Betfair has released preliminary numbers that allege that the players exploited more than GBP 100,000 from the online casinos poker rooms before the company was able to fix he error. And though there were large sums of money won from the poker games, a mere 20 players were involved in the exploitation of the error. Betfair was certainly less than pleased with the situation and expects the online casinos poker players to return the payouts that were unfairly won.

After the coup, the online casinos poker players involved headed to the chat rooms to brag about the payout errors at Betfair. One player posted precisely where the glitch was at, and where the internet gamblers were exploiting it. He summarizes what went wrong at Betfair for those few short hours, "The winner got the standard 1st place prize money. The 2nd place person got the 2nd place prize money. And the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th players also got 2nd place prize money!!!. Obviously chaos ensued, with people testing it out again and moving up to the largest stakes possible. They were just all going all-in every hand as they were guaranteed to profit!"

Now players involved can expect some follow up messages from Betfair requesting that the players return the money that was unfairly won – or else face legal action.
