The German government has an all around strict regulatory regime surrounding the country’s online casinos gambling market. Spielbanken Niedersachsen GmbH (SNG), the gambling monopoly providing land (and soon-to-be online) gambling for residents of the lower Saxony region of Germany, has announced a new internet gambling site that will adhere to German’s many regulations regarding internet gambling while offering some of the only online gambling opportunities in the country.

The CEO of SNG, Rainer Chrubassik, jointly announced the new online casinos gambling site in partnership with Chartwell Technology. The two companies have already begun to design an internet gambling site that will pass through Germany’s strict internet gambling regulations. Chrubassik, commented on the what is going into launching the site, "We shall be launching Germany's first legal virtual casino, and are required by law to ensure the highest standards of security. With Chartwell as our partner we can fulfill our obligations in this respect, while at the same time offering an outstandingly attractive range of products. The intense process of system implementation has been a great challenge to all of us, but one we have succeeded in mastering. The project is unique in Germany and will point the way for future developments."

And as for the future developments that Chrubassik noted, many in the international online casinos gambling industry can only hope that the new developments in the industry include new German legislation that would tear down the current monopoly and open the region to some healthy competition.
